I love that top shot! When I was a kid, my parents took me and my sisters on a road trip every summer. I spent many summer's on Route 66 and this shot brings back those memories.
I like the B&W better. It's more in keeping with the history of the highway, which has almost ceased to exist.
Thanks, guys. There really is an almost "cult" like following of Route 66 I'm finding. It's just so fascinating to research.
